Now celebrating its 12th year, the SIGMA CORPORATE RUN is a unique road-running event designed to inspire fun, fitness and camaraderie among Jamaica’s business community. On Sunday morning, February 21, 2010 at 7:30 a.m. more than 10,000 walkers, joggers and competitive runners from over 85 companies will participate in what has become an annual tradition — and undisputedly — the Caribbean's largest fitness event.

We bring a simple and strong message to Jamaica that fitness can be fun — that a healthy employee makes for a healthy company. SIGMA offers a great first (or continued) step toward fitness.

Since the first staging of SIGMA CORPORATE RUN in 1999, charitable contributions of over $40 million have been donated to several health and child-related charities. We are pleased to announce that the proceeds from this year’s event is in aid of Children with Disabilities because Special Children need Special Care! Our partners and sponsors are working with us to ensure we meet our goal of $10 Million.
 
For the first time, Sigma Corporate Run will be using MyLaps® timing for all participants up to a limit of 10,000 persons. In fact, this is the lastest technology in race timing and we will be the first major event in the world to feature this system.  Each entrant will receive an official MyLaps race bib with an embedded chip that will provide accurate timing start line to finish line.  So register early!

PanCaribbean's SIGMA CORPORATE RUN is a 5.6K fun run that is open to participants of all fitness levels. The event starts with pre-race activities at Emancipation Park in New Kingston and culminates in a post-run celebration featuring an awards ceremony.
